Anagallis
‘Wildcat Pink’. The
first true Anagallis with large pink blooms.
Be patient with these because they don’t start blooming until late
spring, but they bloom well into fall. Heat and drought loving. Full sun. Proven

‘Wedgewood Blue’ – Part of the Proven Winners acclaimed Angelface Series.
Excellent upright flowers grow 12-18” tall.
This new variety has blue and white bi-colored spikes.

Cathedral – Ruffled
foliage with windows of red and green are featured on this unusual, but tough
plant for house or summer containers. The undersides of these fascinating leaves
have erupted veins allowing cathedral windows of light to shine through.
Ivory-pink flowers adorn 12” spikes.
An easy plant in the outdoor containers. Browallia ‘Endless Illumination Blue’ – Also known as star or sapphire flowers. These blue flowering plants actually grow best with some shade. Past shade is best. Great in containers or in the garden. Grow 10-14” tall. Proven Winner. Calibrichoa – also known as Superbells or mini petunias – New colors include Light Blue, Plum and Coral. These three were particularly impressive when we visited the Proven Winner display gardens in August. Loaded with bell shaped flowers. Trailing habit hangs over sides of containers and window boxes. Can be used as a groundcover to add color to the front of a garden. 6” tall and at least three times as wide. Full sun. Chrysocepalum ‘Flambe Orange’ – Exciting new plant. Bright orange clusters of pearl-like blooms provide all summer color on silver-green foliage with a trailing habit. Plant in mass in the garden on as an accent in a container. Grows 10-12”. Needs good drainage. Heat loving. Full sun. Proven Winner. Cleome ‘ Senorita Rosalita‘ - Exclusive to Kennedy’s in 2007. Because this variety of Spider is sterile, it will bloom non-stop with blush pink flowers once the weather gets hot enough. Loves heat and tolerant to dry conditions. Full sun. Grows 2-3’ tall. Cleome Spirit Series – new dwarf Cleomes that grow only 24-30” tall. Small enough to use in medium and large containers. The varieties are called ‘Appleblossom’, ‘Frost’ and ‘Violeta’, which are soft pink, white and lavender. Full sun. Coleus ‘Juliet Quarterman’ - Coleus have been a favorite of many gardeners. The new varieties are so easy to grow. Most are tolerant to some degree of sun and shade. Deep and dark tapering red-purple leaves with an amazing scalloped edge. Grows about 30-36” tall. Proven Winner. Sun or part sun. Proven Winner. Coleus ‘Royal Glissade’ – this one has fuzzy pale olive green leaves with tiny red speckling. Very interesting. 24-30”. Proven Winner. Cuphea Flamenco Samba – Interesting new plant. Compact habit and burgundy-red blooms. Great for containers. Heat loving Eucomis Oakhurst – Purple Pineapple Lily – Strapping upright brilliant burgundy foliage and purple pineapple-like foliage adorn this plant. Has a stately and exotic look where it combines well in mixed containers or in seasonal planting beds. Euphorbia ‘Diamond Frost’ – introduced last year, but still new and special enough to mention for 2007. Extremely versatile plant. Clouds of dainty white flowers. Airy habit compliments other plants as well. Great in containers. Heat and drought tolerant. Likes sun, but will tolerate part shade. Grows about 15” tall and a little wider. Impatiens ‘ Peach Frost ‘ – From the “Simply Beautiful” line. The unusual shaped flower in a lovely peach color is accented by variegated foliage. Plants grow best in morning sun and afternoon shade. For an eye popping show, try them in hanging baskets or garden bed. Origanum ‘Kent Beauty’ – A striking ornamental oregano with striking coral-pink and green hop-like flowers cascade from a mounding woody plant with very attractive, small gray-green foliage. Good drainage is essential for success. Full sun. Ocimum ‘Pesto Perfectuo’ – The first variegated basil on the market. Upright habit and beautiful green leaves with white edges. Great culinary plant because it does not flower so it keeps it taste all year. Can be brought inside in winter as a houseplant in a sunny window. A real winner! Osteospermum ‘Vanilla Spoon’ – part of the Soprano series by Proven Winners. Very cool spoon shaped pure white petals on a daisy like flower. Grow about 15” tall in full sun. Phlox Intensia Pink - this plant is gaining in popularity as consumers are starting to discover it. A solid performer. The darker one called Cabernet was new last year performed very well. This new pink is sure to be a hit in 2007. Heat and humidity tolerant. Full sun or light shade. Grow 14” tall. Supetunia ‘Rasberry Blast’ – this is an award winning annual. Supertunias are one of the best plants for flower beds, hanging baskets and containers. This bright colored variety. This one is a more compact than the typical Supertunia. 8-10” tall. Full sun. Surfinia Red – a new true red variety of trailing petunia that does not fade. Salvia patens Oceana Blue – So many of these tall Salvias have become popular among gardeners. They start blooming when the weather gets warm and don’t stop until late fall. This new variety is a striking sky blue and looked excellent in our to the New Hampshire trial gardens. Verbena
‘Tukana Deep Red’ – An excellent series of tough and easy to grow Verbena.
This color is one of the best looking red ones we have seen.
Trailing habit excellent for containers, hanging baskets and garden
plantings. Grows about 6-12” tall
and several times as wide. Full

mafaffa Lime Zinger Golden Elephant Ears – Wow! These
leaves are stunning! Large
chartreuse leaves hover over any container garden planting, giving it plenty of
color with the need of a flower. This
