    To use it, place grass clippings, leaves, pine needles, and fruit and vegetable scraps in the bin and add water to keep the mixture moist. Using the axel that runs through the center, spin the container every few days to aerate the mixture. When you´ve finished tumbling, situate the mixer with the day of the week (on the mixer´s external, built-in calendar) facing upward to help aerate the compost even more.
     The extra thick, black plastic walls help retain heat, cooking your compost and speeding the decomposition process. The plastic is also enhanced with U.V. inhibitors for protection against the sun for several seasons. Small holes around the vessel allow more air into the mix and help excess water drain out to maintain the right moisture and temperature levels. The lid easily locks in place for convenience and protection of the compost.
