Grasses are one of the hottest groups of
plants we sell at Kennedy’s. Ornamental Grasses fit well in many natural New
England landscape themes. They perform well in sunny, hot, dry, sandy, windy,
and seashore type conditions. The grasses remind people of autumn by the sea or
marshes in New England. Tall Maiden grasses (Miscanthus) seem to be the most
popular. Fountain Grasses (Pennisetum) are also popular due to compact
sizes and attractive fuzzy plumes. Below are a few photos of some of our
