10:30 -11:30 Backyard Birds at Your Feeder Sue MacCallum, sanctuary director for Mass Audubon’s South Shore Sanctuaries. A wide variety of native birds come to local feeding stations. Learn who is visiting and how to invite red-bellied woodpeckers, eastern bluebirds & ruby throated hummingbirds to your yard. Slide Lecture with limited Seating-please call to sign up.
2:00 Half an Hour a Day on Foot author John Galluzzo, will discuss his obsessive exploration of nature and history of the South Shore. Slide Lecture with limited Seating-please call to sign up.
Saturday, March 10th
1:00-2:00 Fresh Flower Demonstration – Kennedy’s own Master Floral designer Paul Watt will demonstrate techniques for creating unique floral pieces. Limited seating, please call to signup.
2:00-3:00 Create Your Own Spring Floral Arrangement, with Paul’s guidance you will make & take home your own floral centerpiece. Limited Seating, please call to sign up. $30 fee for materials, please bring your own hand pruners to cut flower stems.
