Seduction’ – Yarrow - deep rose pink flowers on top of sturdy stems and
thick foliage. Easy to grow.

Achillea ‘Sunny Seduction’ – Yarow
- Bright sulphur-yellow flowers. Grows
28” tall. Zone 4. Full sun.
Baptisia Solar Flare - False Indigo – brilliant
yellow flower spikes fading to deep orange.
Very hardy to zone 3. Grows
30-36” tall in full sun.
Corpeopsis Red Shift – Tickseed - A spectacular hybrid from Massachusetts
breeder Darrell Probst. Summer
flowers have deep red centers that lighten to cream with red streaking towards
the outer tips. Flower color gets
predominantly red with cooler temperatures.
Grows 30-36” tall. Hardy to
zone 4. Full sun.
Corydalis ‘Blue Heron’ – large sapphire dissected foliage, fragrant
blue flowers May-June. Hardy to zone

Echinacea ‘Green Jewel’ –
Coneflower – Light green petals surrounded by a large dark green cone.
Very interesting! These large
3-5” flowers bloom mid to late summer. Compact
24” tall. Zone 3.
Echinacea ‘Little Magnus’ –
Coneflower – A dwarf version of the old stand by.
Same flower color, but smaller and easier to fit into the garden.
Grows 18-24”.
Echinacea Mac ‘n Cheese’ –
Coneflower - name describes the flower color perfectly, orange flowers with
yellow hints in the center cones. Full
sun. Zone 4.
Echinacea ‘Red Knee High’ –
Among so many beautiful new Coneflowers, this one sporting vivid magenta flowers
on a compact growing plants stand out from the crowd.
Full sun. Hardy.
Echinacea ‘Tomato Soup’ –
Coneflower – Tomato red flowers are up to 5” across.
A true breakthrough in the plant world.
Full sun. Zone 4.
Echinacea ‘Virgin’ – this one
caught our eyes upon our grower visit last summer, in fact we begged to bring
some back before they were available for sale.
Large, fragrant, pure white flowers with green centers.
Grows 20-24”. Full sun.

‘Brilliant Ruby Starr’ - Bishop’s Hat – Larger red flowers than the
species that appears over the foliage. Part
Shade. Zone 4.
Epimedium Fire Dragon – Bishop’s Hat
– a terrific color combination of nodding yellow flowerswith purple outer
petals, pure green foliage. Grows 14” tall, bets in part shade. Zone 4.
Epimedium ‘Pink Elf’ –
Bishop’s Hat - Very pretty purple-pink flowers, clumping habit with
green/russet foliage. Grows 9-12”.
Flowers mid-spring through fall. Part
shade. Zone 5.
Gaillardia ‘Frenzy’ – Blanket
Flower – Rich red flowers with fluted petals that curl out at the end
sporting yellow tips. Long blooming
from spring until fall. Grows

Helenium ‘Red Jewel’ –
Helen’s Flower- This new color is very distinctive in the summer garden.
Dark pink flowers have maroon centers encircled in yellow.
Grows 30-36” tall. Full

Heuchera Blackout – Coral Bells-
Blackout is darker red than our favorite ‘Obsidian’.
Nice compact habit to 18” with creamy white flowers in late
spring/early summer. Sun or part sun. Zone 4.
Heuchera ‘Encore’ – Coral Bells
– Young leaves are deep rosy purple color with a silver cast & dark
venation. Mature leaves are pale
rose with silver overlay and smoky purple veins.
Compact 15” by 20” wide. Best
in sun or part sun. Zone 4.
Heuchera ‘Miracle’ – Coral Bells
– This one looks like a coleus (only its perennial).
Chartreuse spring foliage transitions to a rich, deep red with brick red
contrasting with chartreuse margins. Pink
flowers in late summer are a bonus. Grows
1-12” tall and wide. Best in sun
or part sun. Hardy to zone 4.
Hemerocallis ‘Fragrant Return’ –
Daylily – Sport of the popular Happy Returns.
Strong fragrance from repeat blooming lemon yellow flowers from May
through September. Grows 18” tall.
Full sun. Very hardy to zone
3.
Hosta Cherish – mini hosta has yellow leaves that are streaked green, the
leaves turn yellow to white going into summer.
Purple bell shaped flowers in July. Grows
just 6”. Zone 3.
Hosta Ice Prancer – very thick frosty blue leaves that are rippled make
this a unique standout, forms a medium to large clump, very slug resistant.
20”. Zone 3.
Iris germanica Blatant – German Iris – a re-blooming bicolor Iris.
Yellow top and maroon tongue. Grows
34” tall. Zone 4.
Persicaria ‘Orangefield’ – Fleeceflower – Boasts unique orange-pink
flower spikes up to 36” tall and wide. Full
sun. Zone 4.
Salvia ‘Rhapsody in Blue’ - Meadow
Sage – features spikes of purple-blue flowers starting in spring over
large, aromatic, dark green foliage. The individual flowers are larger and more
loosely spaced than other varieties and will provide an excellent re-bloom when
sheared after flowering. Grows
18-24” tall. Full sun. Zone 4.
Sanguisorba ‘Red Thunder’ –
compact mound of fern-like foliage with deep raspberry-red flowers over the top.
Flowers emerge like little cattails and prefer full sun and soil that
does not dry out. 2-4’ when in
flower. Zone 4.
Sedum
Autumn Delight – Stonecrop – succulent
chartreuse-green foliage with blue green irregular margins.
Light pink flowers mature to bronze red.
Grows 18-24” tall. Zone 3.
Veronica Iron Butterfly – fern like foliage that looks like Amsonia
hubrechtii, but produces purple blossoms in late summer.
Compact well-branched. Tolerates
hot dry conditions. Grows 24-30”
tall. Zone 4.
